Whether it's fine dining or a pint and a plate of fish and chips, the Scalloway Hotel can cater for all tastes.


Our restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes - the first in Shetland to achieve this accolade. Our team of chefs prepare a seasonally changing menu which showcases local produce, particularly fish, shellfish and lamb.


Complement your meal with a bottle of wine from our varied list reflecting both the Old and New World.


Our breakfasts offer a huge variety of both hot and cold options, from fruit compote and Danish pastries to Eggs Benedict and kippers.


We also serve meals in the Bar.


During the quieter winter months, we will be offering the same menu in both bar and restaurant, supplemented by daily specials. Tables can be reserved in the restaurant, with those in the bar available on first-come first-served basis. We are happy to cater for special occasions in our dining room, and menus can be created to suit.
